Reducing Drying Time
after Professional Carpet Cleaning

One of the most common questions that my new clients ask is "How long does it take for my carpet to dry after cleaning? When can I resume my normal activities around the house?"

It's a very important question, and it has always been one of the biggest concerns that homeowners and businesses have.

I want to take the time in this article to let you know that I understand — and I have invested in the extra equipment, and I have studied the cutting-edge techniques to reduce drying time to a minimum, without sacrificing the use of the gold-standard of carpet cleaning methods — Hot Water Extraction — also known as Steam Cleaning.

Other carpet cleaning methods that some companies use don't produce the superior deep-cleaning results that Hot Water Extraction achieves. In fact, the carpet manufacturers themselves require Hot Water Extraction to keep their new carpet warranties valid. It's simply the best method on the planet to get your carpets deeply and thoroughly clean.

But it uses water. And water requires some drying time.

What exactly does
My Pro Cleaner™
do to reduce drying time?

My powerful truck-mounted cleaning equipment is known by top cleaners nationwide as "The Darling of The Industry" — because the professionals who invest in this equipment love the power and superior results they can achieve with it — and it can also reduce the drying time significantly over cheaper, inferior truck-mounted equipment.

The Vacuum Power...

It's the hard-working, elite Prochem Legend GT.

My Prochem Legend unit has vacuum strength powered by a 33 hp engine. This unit has such powerful suction (over 13 inches of lift — that’s a lot) that it removes nearly all the water (and deeply-embedded dirt) from deep within the carpets, so carpets are typically dry in about 2 hours!

cleaning equipment called wand glides
Wand Glides

Furthermore, I also invested in wand glides that attach to the head of the cleaning wand. These glides are designed to help the carpets dry quicker. The holes in the glide are designed to increase the velocity of air and water through the wand which reduces drying time by leaving less water in the carpet.

Air Movers

In addition, depending on the conditions*, I can set up quick-dry air movers, which help dry carpets — often in about 1 hour!

Fast drying times are important!
Faster drying times help you to get back to your regular activities sooner, and it also prevents re-soiling and possible mold and mildew growth that can develop when a carpet cleaner uses inferior equipment.

... and High Water Temperature!

Very hot water is an important part of optimum carpet cleaning and fast drying times.

My Prochem unit produces its own heat — up to 240 degrees! And my unit is engineered to keep that super-high temperature throughout the cleaning process.

You may have noticed the temperature is actually higher than the natural boiling point of water. The system uses pressure (like in a pressure cooker) to super-heat the water. The super hot water instantly sanitizes your carpet, kills dust mites and bacteria, and effectively removes oil-based dirt and residues that vacuum cleaners and rental machines cannot. At super high water temperatures, the drying time is much faster due to increased evaporation.

I take great pride in my work and my entire business. Since 2004, I have been committed to providing the highest quality full-service carpet cleaning for your home or business. I never compromise on investing in the superior equipment that helps me provide you with the most thorough cleaning — and faster drying time.
